Skeleton Crew Musings
So we’re over half way through Skeleton Crew, and what a ride so far. The one word I’ve heard over and over again to describe it is FUN, I agree. I’m super hopeful Skeleton Crew will be a hit and bring mainstream success that we haven’t really seen since the Mandalorian, but in the meantime I’ve been enjoying musing over the story so here’s some takes and questions…
Black Series Darth Vader (Kenobi) review
One Black Series figure I always wanted to pick up was Darth Vader, so I pulled the trigger on the Obi-Wan Kenobi series version and was excited to break it out of the box!
Topps Star Wars Archives Signature Series
If you’re a Star Wars trading card collector, and you like autograph cards, the Topps Star Wars Signature Archive Card Series is well worth a look. This is a unique and varied set, combining the nostalgia of legacy cards, with a new attractive look and feel, and the exclusivity and scarcity of an on-card autograph.
Top 5 Vader quotes. Remembering James Earl Jones
In the huge ripples left by James Earl Jones on entertainment, cinema, and Star Wars, these quotes to me reflect not only his incredible range but also his ability to make Vader a character of depth, complexity and staying-power. There are so many memorable lines that it’s hard to narrow them down. But each of these captures my memory of what makes Darth Vader, and James Earl Jones, truly iconic...
Goodnight Acolyte
Well there it was. The announcement, the anticipation, the arrival, the action, the arguments, the adieu, then the abandonment. And now the acceptance and the appreciation. Thanks The Acolyte....

Top 4 things to look forward to in an Acolyte Season 2

Everything from review bombing even before the show came out, displeasure over its perceived treatment of lore, questions about budgets, to a passionate #RenewTheAcolyte following on social media. I for one will come out and say up top that I loved the show.
My way in to Star Wars trading cards
In the last year or so I’ve found myself learning more about the world of Star Wars trading cards. Known as part of the ‘Non-sports card' hobby, the old vintage sets date back to 1977, right up to current day sets from most of the latest shows and other signed, limited, or flagship card collections…
Hyped for Acolyte…
The High Republic era novels have started to expand this timeline before the prequels, the real golden age, but the Acolyte will be the first time we get to see this in live action, the original Star Wars medium, I can’t wait…
80’s OT kid
I remember being a Star Wars fan about as long as I remember being a kid. Born in 87' I missed the Original Trilogy (OT) in cinemas, but I was about the perfect age for the Prequels when they dropped (11 for Phantom Menace in 1999). That said, the OT was my big way into Star Wars, and I've often contemplated the timing of this…
